The role will be required to: • Contribute to a high standard of HSE performance by following HSE standards at all times, including the prompt reporting of any safety or environmental hazards or incidents, not limited to the ICSS discipline only. • Participate in Emergency Response Exercises as per allocated responsibility in line project agreed procedures; • Assist with commissioning and start-up of PLC/MMS loops, UCP’s in line with CSU agreed procedures. • Support/provide training where required, to ICSS Operator Technicians and/or maintenance technicians • Work collaboratively in an integration capacity with vendor package engineers, and/or ICSS Technicians. • Monitor and maintain ICSS-PLC network, identifying faults, working with Telecom Technicians to resolve • Monitor PLC/MMS hardware performance and routine execution performance, providing optimisation recommendations where appropriate • Monitor and maintains any associated cabinet instrumentation • Diagnose faults on the PLC/MMS systems by methodically applying appropriate tests and procedures • Conduct hardware repairs/replacements/additions, and software control modifications (per approved project MOC process) of PLC/MMS systems, keeping operational disruption to an absolute minimum • Manage PLC/MMS hardware and software lifecycle requirements, inventory levels, procurement requirements • Prepare for review and approval necessary Systems/Subsystems documentation handed over to O&M • Act as Instrument / Safety Systems Isolation Authority within their authorisation level in line with the PTW / LOTO procedure • Attend daily Tool-Box talks, JHA discussions, and Risk Assessments as and when required • Conducts Risk Assessments (JHA) as and when required • Acts as Permit to Work Holder • Record accurately all findings and work carried out, capturing accordingly in SAP • Report all PLC/MMS issues, recommending corrective actions, capturing accordingly in SAP • Champion and maintain high house-keeping standards in PIR/SIR/UIR/FIR/AIR/TIR/QIR rooms. • Continuous review and optimisation of ICSS Alarm Management and Cyber Security practises • Provision of a report for each trip detailing work carried out, particularly in areas of faults, corrective work and suggestive improvements, handover notes for back-to-back should also be provided. • Co-ordinate availability of spare parts and equipment required for repairs and change outs, schedule offshore repairs for analyser measurement and test equipment to ensure continuity of service. • Assist auditors, vendors and other third parties during site visits.
