Description :
  • ~ Developing risk management standards, policies and procedures
  • ~ Establishing and managing the program risk management plan
  • ~ Coordination with program management team and Contractors on all aspects of risk management
  • ~ Run and facilitate risk management workshops
  • ~ Maintenance and analysis of the risk register
  • ~ Facilitate development, implementation and tracking of mitigation actions including risk reporting
  • ~ Plan, design and implement an overall risk management process
  • ~ Carry out risk assessments across the business which involves managing the process of analyzing upside and downside risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the quantitative and qualitative risks affecting the business and its operations
  • ~ Report risks in an appropriate way for different audiences such that the most significant risks are understood and ensure that they are regularly followed
  • ~ Select and implement measures to control and mitigate risks including activities to avoid risks, transfer risks and finance risks
  • ~ Monitor and review processes to ensure risk mitigations are in place
  • ~ Provide support, education and training that relate to risk management, to all staff across the organization as appropriate
  • ~ Hold risk assessment workshops for all projects and support project managers with the setting up and managing of risk registers
  • √ 12 year’s experience in risk management of which 5 years should have been in oil, gas or related industry
  • √ Knowledge of risk management software’s such as Primavera Risk Manager or ARM is a must
  • √ Oil and Gas experience is a must
  • √ Graduate degree from accredited university is essential Professional qualification in Risk Management is advantageous
  • √ High level of proficiency in English is essential and Arabic is desirable
  • √ Communication skills: written, reporting, presentation and oral, confidentiality, refining industry knowledge, objectivity, business understanding, regulatory and standards changes, organizational skills, Conflict resolution / negotiations skills, leadership Information Technology: use of IA portal
