HMD UN Project commemorated the Annual Safety Day on 04^th July 2018 in an extremely grand manner in line with its pursuit of ‘Starting Strong’. However, various events to commemorate this big day started months before the event. The events were closely coordinate and brought to fruition by JGC Site Management and Subcontractors. Some of the pre-activities carried out to inaugurate the Safety Day were as follows;

• Safety Slogan Contest
• Safety Poster Contest
• Weekly HSE focus Campaigns
• STARRT Evaluations

The Safety Day 2018 was carried out to reinforce the value of safety on the Project and to forge stronger relationships amongst all stakeholders on the Project. All Subcontractors and employees participated in the Safety Day events in an unprecedented manner making the overall program a huge success. A lot of time and effort was spent to bring the safety day to life. It was truly a successful event.
