JGC HSSE Conference

JGC Corporation launched and introduced its Corporate Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Conference in the year 2008 with the aim to positively affect the mind-set and increase the HSSE awareness of JGC’s management and all employees. 

The conference is sponsored by JGC’s President, who opens the event with relevant keynotes, addressing important issues such as the “Incident & Injury Free" or IIF^® program, including feedback from project management, and the awarding ceremony for JGC’s construction sites that remain incident and injury free for a long period of time.

Furthermore, security management affairs, which is one of JGC’s top priorities, is also discussed during the conference and relevant updates are shared. The conference is concluded with a commitment message by JGC’s most senior management.

JGC Safety Day

JGC’s Safety Day was initiated corporate wide in the year 2012 by JGC’s President in order to recognize the safe work of all employees not only in all domestic and overseas projects, but also in JGC’s head office and its subsidiaries.

The Safety Day’s highlight is the demonstration of safety activities relevant to the work force in performance of their tasks everyday which help increase the safety awareness of all employees. Activities include traffic safety campaigns, safety day poster drawing competitions, fire safety demonstrations, top management safety walkthroughs and project HSSE conferences, to name a few.
