JGC ALGERIA conducted a workshop on the "7 Golden Rules of Safe Driving" and on the incid-ent and Injury Free Program during their Safety Day Celebration last July 17th.

JGC AMERICA celebrated Safety Day for four days, from the 14th-17th Jul, and each day focused on one specific area, namely; Health, Safety, Security and Environment. Activities included food sampling and a Healthy Eating Handbook distribution by United Healthcare and Wholefoods. Day 2 focused on Safety and a seminar with the Houston Police was conduct-ed. Day 3 was the day allocated for Security where-in a seminar with US Secret Service on Electronic Crimes was held. Day 4 focused on the Environment.  

JGC INDONESIA celebrated Safety Day with a lot of activities such as; a short film related to HSSE, a housekeeping demonstration, a safety quiz, safety poster contest and awards for the best driver. They ended the program with the HSSE Yell saying "YES to Zero Illness, Zero Injury, Zero Property Loss and Zero Pollution".  

JGC GULF Head Office, Project Offices and Project Sites convened on the theme "Thumbs Up to Safety."  On this day, they revisited the implementation and the practice of the "7 Golden Rules of Safe Driving", as well as the posting of HSSE Commitment Sticker. All offices conducted a seminar on Defensive Driving and the saving of lives.

JGC SINGAPORE - Singapore traffic police presented material on Road Traffic Safety, whilst the Workplace Safety and Health Council representative administered an office ergono-mics quiz to willing participants. An interactive game stall on noise hazard was also featured during the event. 

JGC YAMAL - Staff at the Yamal office started their day with the morning exercise at the office.  As part of their Safety Day celebration, they had a Site Tour and they also conducted a workshop on the Incident and Injury Free Program.
